Storytelling has obviously been in existence since the birth of human language. Telling and listening to stories activate and stimulate those parts of our brain’s right hemisphere, which are responsible for creativity, emotions, and even our sense of humour (if we happen to have any). Our brain simply loves stories: they connect speaker and listener, they inspire and sustain attention, they transmit important information and values from one individual or community to the next. If a story is good enough, it helps us explore all the possibilities.

Business storytelling is about possibilities.

Every idea, enterprise, startup, company, organization has its own story worth finding and telling. Success or failure are essential parts of these stories. The right story always holds the possibility of being used in an inspiring, effective way.

My name is Dominika Szabó and I have been working as a communications expert for more than 15 years, across diverse sectors. My accelerant is civil courage and I pride myself being a humanitarian advocate, so besides designing workshops, I develop communication strategies & plans for the not-for-profit sector.

The texture of my life – either professional or private – is woven by the most colourful and delicate threads of stories, and I passionately believe in the power of these stories represent.

I have a feeling for understanding, filtering and using the right stories in specific situations. As a trainer, facilitator, consultant I help my customers find a strong, memorable story by which they can credibly gain trust in their audience for business development, branding, and of course for communication purposes.

We all know these and similar unpleasant sentences. A proper story and its serving can be outstandingly effective, since it not only creates confidence and security but also creates emotional bonds between the “speaker” and the “listener”.
